The Labour Department of Tripura, on April 30, 2026, issued the minimum wages for different scheduled employments.
The government has revised the Variable Dearness Allowances (VDA) for the state of Tripura and will be payable with effect from April 01, 2026, for the workers employed in the following categories: -
• Shops & Establishments,
• Stone Breaking & Stone Crushing
• Safai Karmachari
• Rubber Plantation
• Rice Mill
• Private Teaching Institutes/Coaching Schools (Excluding state government Aided Private Schools)”
• Private Security Guard
• Petrol Pump
• Public Motor Transport
• Mechanical Workshops
